Dr. Firdaus is a highly accomplished Rheumatologist with over 20 years of clinical experience in the diagnosis and management of complex rheumatic and musculoskeletal disorders.
She is deeply involved in advancing the field through clinical practice, research, and education.
She was awarded the APLAR Fellowship in 2004 and has contributed significantly to academic literature with numerous national and international publications, as well as chapters in four medical textbooks. Dr. Firdaus has been a former editor of The Manual Of Rheumatology.
She has actively participated and presented her research at leading international conferences including ACR(American College of Rheumatology), BSR(British Society of Rheumatology), APLAR(Asia-Pacific League Against Rheumatism), IRACON(Indian Rheumatology Association Conference), and EULAR(European Alliance of Associations for Rheumatology), and has been associated with multiple clinical trials aimed at improving patient outcomes.
She has a keen interest in investigating cardiovascular risk in RA.
